Project Update:
Background Information:
The Department of General Services (DGS) has asked the Information Technology community to provide feedback to the current process. Two meetings have been held, June 18, 2007 and September 24, 2007. As a result of the June 18, 2007 meeting, the DGS staff determined that the following five (5) general categories have been identified by the vendor community:
- General Terms & Conditions
- Bundling and Unbundling
- Pre-Existing Software Licensing
- Software Terms & Conditions
- Warranty and Maintenance
Vendors are asked to review the industry feedback for each category and summarize the information. Feedback and specific examples are to be provided to the category coordinator. Please review the COTS Category document for additional information. Work Group Topics
