CART provides assistive technology (AT) services to individuals with physical disabilities. CART is part of Rancho Los Amigos, a Los Angeles County rehabilitation hospital. CART services include evaluations, recommendations, equipment set up, modification, and training. Primary AT areas include wheelchair seating and mobility, augmentative communication, electronic activities for daily living, computer access and technology integration. Services are typically provided at CART. However, evaluations can be conducted in the individual's school, home or work environment, when needed.
