Specializing in the training of blind or visually-impaired computer users to effectively use their access software to perform word processing, internet access, e-mail usage, and certain note takers. Clients can obtain training in (but not limited to) the following areas:

- An emersion in to the use of JAWS for Windows
- An emersion in to the use of WindowEyes
- An emersion in to the use of Zoom Text
- An immersion in to the use of e-mail clients such as Outlook Express, and Microsoft Outlook

The Rehabilitation Engineering Technology (RET) Project at San Francisco State University has been providing assistive technology services to the California State Department of Rehabilitation, other government agencies, schools, businesses, and private individuals since 1992. We work with people with a broad range of physical, sensory, and cognitive disabilities and offer a full range of AT services from initial evaluation through product recommendations, set up, and training. We are uniquely available to modify off-the-shelf equipment and design and fabricate custom solutions. We also provide troubleshooting and repair services for AT equipment and related computer systems. We have offices in San Francisco and Berkeley and offer our services to DOR counselors and consumers within the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
