The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Master Services Agreement (MSA) provides state agencies, cities, counties, special districts, educational and other public entities with professional consultant services.
Update:
The HIPAA MSA will expire June 2, 2008 and will not be re-bid. However, the majority of the current HIPAA contractors are on the IT Consulting MSA, Business and Management Consulting MSA, and/or a CMAS contract. In addition, HIPAA contracts currently in-place will be allowed to extend for up to 12 months beyond the June 2, 2008 date, with an approved contract amendment, according to the terms of their original contract to allow time for deliverables to be completed.
