The Procurement Division (PD) has established the Emergency Acquisition Database. The Database addresses the emergency procurement needs identified by the State of California Emergency Operations Plan.
The Emergency Acquisitions Database can serve as a complement to agencies' Continuity of Operations Plan and Continuity of Government (COOP/COG), and assist in the procurement of emergency items on existing DGS-PD contracts (i.e. CMAS, WSCA, Master Agreements, Statewide Commodity Contracts, and Food & Pharmaceutical Contracts).
Included in the database are various emergency scenarios and the appropriate DGS-PD contracts that are applicable to those occurrences. This database, updated on a regular basis, is now available to State agencies and local governments.
